Questions school owners ask
Do I need a computer?
No. Termbook works on any smartphone, Android or iPhone. You open it in the browser and add it to your home screen, so it opens like an app.
What if there is no network or data?
You can keep working. Payments you record are saved on your phone and go up to the cloud by themselves when the internet is back.
Is our school’s information safe?
Yes. You choose your own password, and only your school’s login can see your records. You type your own fees and add your own pupils, so we set up your account without ever seeing them. Records are stored on Google’s secure cloud (Firebase). You can hide all amounts behind a PIN, and download a full backup any time. We never sell or share your school’s data.
Can parents see our records?
No. Only your school can see Termbook. Parents only get the receipts you choose to send them.
Can we bring in our old records?
Yes. Download our Excel template, fill in your pupils with what they have paid this term and any balance owed from before, then upload it. Termbook checks every row and shows you the list before anything is added. If you get stuck, we can help.
Can we stop any time?
Yes. You pay one term at a time. If you stop, your records are kept safe, and we can give you a copy.
